Where We Gern -TitleCard

“Where We Gern?” Title Page

“Where We Gern?” is a trivia game to educate users on the rich and diverse culture of The Bahamas. In collaboration with expert historian, Alexis Clarke. It was made using pure HTML5, CSS and Javascript. The user tests their knowledge with Trivia on The Bahamian islands covered in Alexis’ website, Everything Bahamian. The Questions were loaded on to a separate .JSON file where once the Play button was clicked it would start a function that would call a random question out of the 21 loaded questions until the user has answered 10. Their correct answers are recorded and added to the user’s score. The Highest 3 scores have the opportunity to store their High Scores locally. The Github Repository below shows in depth through comments the reasoning and logic taken. The game itself is hosted as a Static Webpage via CloudFlare.

The Teacher’s Desk is a resource for Bahamian teachers. A collaborative project where I am the Senior Web Developer. It is a networking tool for teachers to exchange ideas, reach out for support, and post their lesson plans, while also being able to make some passive income. I oversaw the creation of, testing and deployment of the site which was made with a mixture of Wix and custom code.
